The Studio, Birmingham

This event is currently fully booked. You can still complete the registration form for your name to be added to a waiting list for any cancelled places.

The NIHR Clinical Research Network Reproductive Health & Childbirth National Research Champions are proud to announce our second annual NIHR CRN Reproductive Health & Childbirth Research Workforce Symposium.

A draft programme of events has been prepared that we hope will bring together the multi-disciplinary team with plenty of opportunity to network and share ideas. Share with each other innovative approaches to research delivery and explore collaborative ideas to developing a sustainable workforce. Learn about the journeys of those delivering clinical research to ensure ongoing success.

Registration

Registration is open to delegates working within the reproductive health and childbirth speciality. We are keen to encourage those already working in clinical research delivery, clinical staff supporting research in their current role and those considering a clinical research role.

We expect a great deal of interest in this symposium so please register as soon as possible. Registration does not guarantee a place. We will endeavour to be as fair as possible in allocating places, aiming for a range of experience and geographical spread. Registration will close on 31 January 2020.

Registration is available at: http://profbriefings.net/index.php/registration-crn20

In light of the GDPR you will be asked to read the NIHR privacy policy and indicate on the registration form that you have understood.

Invitation for poster presentations

Delegates are invited to submit a 300 word abstract about Engagement in Research to present a poster on the day. This could include your own reflections on your own journey engaging with research and encouraging others to do so, including what has made a difference and what you have learnt that you would like to share. You could also present evidence about the impact of increased engagement on teams, patient and research studies. If you wish to submit a proposal, please complete the online abstract form when you register for the meeting. Places will be prioritized for those submitting an abstract but does not guarantee a place. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters.

Travel and accommodation

Attendance at the symposium is free of charge, but delegates will be required to meet their own travel and accommodation expenses if needed.
