Good Will and Good Works: Advice 2020
The Advice Services Alliance is turning 40 and to celebrate we will be holding a two-day conference for the UK advice sector in Manchester on 15-16 December 2020. The conference has been postponed from the original dates of 1-2 April 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The conference will be an engaging and exciting event for advice services, voluntary organisations, funders and stakeholders which will both challenge accepted thinking and share key ideas on the future of social welfare advice in England and Wales. The conference will reflect on our 40-year history to think forward to the new challenges and experiences facing the sector. We will explore ways we can work together to tackle the social injustices faced by our clients and others in the community.

We are delighted to be holding the conference in Manchester and aim to shine a spotlight on the local advice sector. We are aiming to attract a diverse audience and open up the conversation across different UK regions, to ensure greater collaboration and learning opportunities.
